POTSDAM – The Golden Knights Women’s Hockey Team is off to The Frozen Four Wednesday, and fans are welcome to give them a good sendoff from the Cheel Arena rear parking lot on their way to the University of New Hampshire for the tournament.
After a playoff victory over Quinnipiac, the team will be making its second appearance in the Frozen Four.
Clarkson will face off against Boston College in the semi-final round on Friday, March 18 at 4 p.m.
Minnesota and Wisconsin will battle in the second semifinal game at 7 p.m.
Winners of the semifinals will play for the 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Championship on Sunday, March 20, with the puck dropping at 2 p.m.
The 2016 Frozen Four is hosted at the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore Center in Durham, N.H.
Fans are welcome to gather at noon Wednesday at Cheel as the women leave for UNH. Please enter through the main campus gate at the stoplight on Maple Street.
