CANTON -- TAUNY, Traditional Arts in Upstate New York, is hosting a gingerbread workshop led by award-winning gingerbread builder Sue Wilder Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m.-noon, at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
This program will include instruction, inspiration, and all materials.
Participants can work individually or in small groups (up to 4 people) and will bring home their decorated gingerbread house.
There is no minimum age to participate, but children must be supervised. The cost for this workshop is $30 (per house) or $25 for TAUNY Friends.
Pre-registration is required by signing up online at tauny.org or calling 315-386-4289.
The workshop is made possible by the generous underwriting support from the Wilder and Albert families.
The workshop is fantastic preparation for TAUNY's annual Sugar & Spice Gingerbread Contest and Display which will take place at the annual Holiday Open House Dec. 2.
This year's gingerbread contest theme is “Where the Music Happens.”
