POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University Alpine Ski team hosts an individual/team triathlon as a fundraiser on Sunday, April 17. The event includes a 400-meter swim in the pool, an 11.6 mile bike ride, and a 5-K run. Participants can compete individually or as a team.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a start time of 9:30 a.m. at the Andrew Schuler Recreation Building next to Clarkson's Alumni Gymnasium. The bike ride starts behind the gymnasium out to South Canton Road and back to Baghdad Road, and the run will take place on the campus trails.
Cost for Clarkson students is $20 for individuals, $30 for teams, and for others, $30 for individuals and $45 for teams, in advance. Same day registration is an additional $5.
