OGDENSBURG — The Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library invite the public to its annual fall book sale at the Ogdensburg Public Library from Oct. 18-20.
This sale also kicks off the library’s annual membership drive. To become a member, ask for the information at the cashier desk.
The Friends Annual Membership runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 so joining in October gets three extra months of benefits.
The Fall Book Sale will be held in the auditorium upstairs and in the book store (basement) on Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 4-7 p.m.; Thursday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Friday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
For sale are hard cover books for ($3) and children’s books (50 cents), DVDs ($2), CDs and puzzles ($1).
“Friends” members receive half off purchases throughout the sale on Wednesday and Thursday.
A "special books” section will be displayed in a separate area Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 19.
These books are old, rare, or unusual and will be sold at the price marked on the book.
The $5 bag sale will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The “Friends” discount does not apply during the Bag Sale.
All proceeds from the sale help to support the Ogdensburg Public Library.
