COLTON -- A free arthritis program for senior citizens will be offered on Wednesdays beginning June 11 at the Colton United Methodist Church, 11 Church St.
The program will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. each week through June 25.
This program is designed to give the information needed to help manage arthritis symptoms.
Topics include communication, exercise, diet, dealing with pain, as well as the psychological aspects of having a chronic condition like arthritis.
The instructor, Ada Santaferra, is an Arthritis Foundation volunteer. She is a clinical faculty member of the Department of Community Health at SUNY Potsdam.
