Frances B. Kingsley, 95, Norwood

NORWOOD -- Graveside services for Frances B. Kingsley, 95, a resident of Baldwin Acres, Norwood and formerly of the O’Brien Road, will be held in the springtime in the Hale Cemetery, Norfolk.

Frances passed away Friday morning, February 23, 2024, at home with family at her side.

Frances is survived by a brother-in-law, Allen and Sandy Kingsley, Potsdam; two sister-in-laws, Cheryl Hazen and Norma Burns, both of Raymondville as well as several nieces and nephews.

Frances was pre-deceased by her parents Leon and Helen and her late husband, Charles “Everett” Kingsley.

Born in Potsdam, NY on December 12, 1928, to the late Leon and Helen Bice Papaw, Frances graduated from Potsdam High School and married Charles “Everett” Kingsley on August 12, 1948. Everett passed away on December 28, 2012.

Frances was a homemaker and also worked for several years at Potsdam Laundry.

She enjoyed outdoor activities with her husband, especially gardening.

Frances also like to read and do puzzles in her spare time.
