Joey Vocino scored his eight goal of the season and seventh on the power play at the 7:16 mark of the second period off passes from Vili-Jesper Koivula and Tyler Bullard, but it wasn't enough for the Roos (7-15-2) to overcome a five-goal deficit.

Austin Washkurak got the start in net making five saves, while Josh Erickson turned aside 22 shots in relief. D Jacobson stopped five shots over the first two periods, while C Hansen made 10 saves in the third period.
