There is a slight chance of snow showers this afternoon with highs in the lower 30s and winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Snow squalls could develop on Friday as an arctic cold front bring much colder temperatures to the region, NWS says.
Overnight lows will be around 18 with winds of 10 to 15 mph until midnight before becoming light and variable.
There is a 50 percent chance of snow on Friday with highs in the mid 20s expected.
