To the Editor:
The membership of the New Horizons Band its director/conductor Ron Berry wish to thank the members of the Higley Association and President Linden Snyder for their help in making our first “floating band performance” on the “Great Bay” Wednesday, Aug. 21 a success.
Special thanks go to Judy Fuhr for publicity, Jerry Pethic, Roger Duscharm, Hand Ford, and John Snell for providing their pontoon (party) boat for the event and Snell for refreshments.
Numerous boats, kayaks, and skidoos joined the band as it drifted along and fun was had by all.
Roland Wood,
Edwards
