COLTON -- Colton-Pierrepont Central School celebrated Colts Pride Day with a flash mob before school Friday.
Dressed in their school colors of purple and gold students and faculty members danced to music building momentum for the boy’s varsity soccer game that afternoon. The Colts won the game against Brushton-Moira, 3-0
Joining the students in the flash mob was Barbara Wheaton whose grandchildren currently attend Colton-Pierrepont. A Zumba participant, she came out to show community support, said Peter Edwards, CPCS microcomputer coordinator. Wheaton’s children also attended the school.

The flash mob was organized by Social Studies teacher Megan Leger.
