Lilly Mae is sporting her bandanna for Mental Health Awareness Month. ‘We all have times when we are down and need a helping hand or just a few pets,’ said Dave Flint, who submitted the photo. ‘Never fear to reach out to talk to a friend, family member that will listen. Remember they are the ones that love and care about you. Dad has told me he has been fortunate enough to have been helped in that way from friends and family who convinced him to seek professional help in a kind way. Even though he feared the dreaded stigma, he did it. He says he never has regretted it. So please, if you know someone who is hurting, reach out and listen. Let them know how much you care.’
