POTSDAM -- A "Fiddling with Traditions" concert with fiddler/composer Gretchen Koehler and pianist Daniel Kelly will take place Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Potsdam Public Library.
Fiddler Gretchen Koehler and jazz pianist Daniel Kelly blend the raw energy of dance fiddling with the lyricism and improvisation of jazz. "Masterful," writes Fiddler Magazine of the duo's dynamic sound.
The multi-media concert will share fiddle tunes from heart pumping musical arrangements to peaceful panoramas. Audiences of all ages will enjoy this captivating musical adventure enhanced by a backdrop of gorgeous film and photography.
The concert is presented by the North Country Fiddlers. A $10 donation is suggested for the benefit of the Potsdam Public Library.
