To the Editor:
I want to send a big thank you to the Hopkinton Town Board and our taxpayers.
My son and his three children come to visit every year. The highlight of their visit is fishing on the river and brook in Fort Jackson.
My grandchildren are 13, 11 and 9 years old. This gives them the chance to enjoy nature, learn about catch and release and pack out what you bring in.
They live near Boston; don't often fish and catch frogs and minnows there. The kids love this area; their father, Jason grew up here.
So, thank you, residents of Hopkinton, for keeping the park open to public users. We appreciate it.
