In response to Answers for America which appeared in the Aug. 15-21 issue of North Country This Week: Over the 8 days we met several of our neighbors who joined us as a result of the recent mailing. We recognize that life can be difficult, and that troubling world events, both current and past, have caused stress and worry for many people. In today’s world, stress, anger, and frustration are oftentimes revealed in division, discord, and even violence. As Christians, we look to the Bible for answers to some of life’s challenges. Our intent was not to offend people with the images on our flyer, but rather to acknowledge that our flawed world is shaped by many different players and pressures. Our recent tent revival series gave us and a few new friends an opportunity to think, learn, and reflect on the ways that the Bible can provide answers, guidance and understanding.. We invite the community to join us as we continue to explore God’s word.
