In reference to the airport advisory committee why didn’t the village put out a release stating that it was forming this committee? I am sure there are others in our community who would be happy to serve. I for one worked as an air traffic controller for 6 1/2 years in both the military and for the F.A.A. and I think my knowledge would greatly benefit this committee. Having pilots on the committee is a great and necessary asset but having dealt with airport regulations for years in my former careers I understand what is necessary when it comes to upgrades and repairs. If the current village government wants to be truly successful and benefit its constituents they need to start communicating with the public and stop notifying them after the fact. Give the people they are representing a chance to contribute.
