EDWARDS – The Edwards-Knox Central School Booster Club is hosting a Zumba luau in the school gym Wednesday, April 4.
Attendees can learn easy Latin dance rhythms adapted for exercise and get an extra workout just before spring break.
Five local instructors will lead the exercise for almost two hours of salsa, merengue, cumbia, hip hop, and more.
They also plan a silent auction for some prizes, and sales of Zumba and Cougar items. Snacks and water will be provided.
Exercise clothing and sneakers are suggested but add luau gear (lei, grass skirt) to your outfit and get five free auction tickets.
Registration starts at 6:30 p.m., and Zumba starts at 6:45.
They are asking for a minimum donation of $5, with proceeds going for athletics and promoting school spirit.
This for ages 12 and up -- some music may contain adult content.
