NICHOLVILLE -- Dylan C. Burns, 37, of Nicholville and formerly of Pierrepont, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Dylan was born July 7, 1986, in Potsdam and son of Rodney Burns and Cynthia (Clough) Burns.
He graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 2005.
Dylan worked for a carpenters union.
He had a deep love for nature and being in the woods.
He enjoyed four wheeling and fishing, he had a true “green thumb”, and his dog Gypsy was his baby.
Although he never had children of his own, he loved and cherished his nieces and nephews.
On March 22, 2022 he married Carrie (Baxter) Bugbee.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie, siblings Bridget (Josh) Cardinal and Jake Burns, Mark (Barb) Burns who was like a cousin, brother and best friend all in one, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Rodney A. Burns.
Calling hours for Dylan will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the O’Leary Funeral Home, Canton.
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be in the Cooks Corners Cemetery, Pierrepont.
