TUPPER LAKE — Multiple people were charged with drug and weapons possession after a search warrant was executed Feb. 8 at 13 Fourth St., according to state police.
New York State Police Troop B Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET) and Troop B Community Stabilization Unit (CSU), with assistance from the Tupper Lake Village Police Department, executed the search warrant in the village.
Troopers said they believed an occupant of the residence was harboring a fugitive wanted for sentencing in Franklin County Court.
As a result of the search warrant, a quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine were seized, as well as illegal weapons and weapon components.
These included extended magazines/ammunition, brass knuckles, a pistol and an imitation pistol.
The following people were arrested as a result of the investigation:
He was also charged with four counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree hindering prosecution, police said.
Snyder was arraigned in Tupper Lake Village Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail on $5,000 bail.
He was arraigned in Tupper Lake Town Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail without bail.
This arrest stemmed from an ongoing VGNET investigation where Drasye allegedly fled the scene of a traffic stop. He had been evading apprehension and was located hiding in an exterior shed on the property.
Kentile had reportedly been evading apprehension and was located inside the residence. He was transported to Franklin County Jail, without bail, awaiting sentencing.
Putney was released on an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
