LOUISVILLE – Congressional candidate Matt Doheny will attend the International Joint Commission’s public information session tonight about Plan Bv7, a proposed water management plan for the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario.
Doheny, a businessman from Jefferson County, is seeking the Republican, Independence and Conservative party lines in the 21st Congressional District, now held by Bill Owens, a Democrat from Plattsburgh who seeks to keep his seat in Congress.
Doeny said he favors the current proposal for managing flows in the waters abutting northern New York.
Doheny is encouraging residents to attend the 7 p.m. session at the Louisville Fire Department, 14818 State Rt. 37.
