POTSDAM -- The American Association of University Women and Clarkson University’s office of student life will host a talk about the book “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Potsdam Civic Center Community Room.
The discussion, lead by Dr. JoAnn Rogers and Dr. Laura Ettinger of Clarkson, will explore the medical and ethical issues raised by the book written by Rebecca Skloot.
Winner of several awards, the book was featured on over 60 critics’ best of the year lists in 2010.
