POTSDAM -- Disabled American Veterans will recruit volunteer drivers on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at the VFW Post 1194, 95 Market St.
Volunteer drivers bring disabled veterans to scheduled medical appointments and back so they can get the care they deserve.
They receive a small monetary amount to buy a meal during their travel day, along with the respect of the veterans, the VFW said in an email.
Representatives from the Syracuse VA will present information about becoming a volunteer.
For more information, attend the meeting or contact Bill Gleason, the Regional DAV Recruiter, at 425-4343.
