LISBON -- For those who want to watch cars crash without tragedy attached, the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a demolition derby on July 20 at 1 p.m.
Engines start at 1 p.m. It will be held at the Firemen’s Field, Pray Road.
Admission is $5 per person and children under age 12 get in free. Concessions will be available at the field.
Drivers can register for small, medium, large and outlaw classes from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
There is a $600 prize.
