CANTON — Deep Root Center for Self-Directed Learning (DRC), an alternative educational choice for young people between the ages of 5-19, received a $5,000 grant from the GrassRoots Foundation.
“The Deep Root Center staff and board are grateful to receive $5,000 to fund the DRC Maker Room and Music Program, Maria Corse, executive director of the Deep Root Center, said in an email.
“This grant allows DRC to continue to support and attract those students in our community who thrive in a creative, experiential, and hands-on environment,” she said.
