Deborah Gmyr, 66, Massena

MASSENA -- Deborah Gmyr, age 66, passed away at her home on December 20, 2023.

A funeral mass will be held at a later date in Syracuse at St. John the Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the care of Frary Funeral Home, Massena.

Deborah was born in Syracuse on July 15, 1957, the daughter of Edward and Mae Gmyr.

She graduated from Henninger High School.

She worked at several GM plants across the US before settling in Massena until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter Christina, of Ireland; and two sisters, Janet of Syracuse and Pam of Norfolk.

She is predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.

Deborah loved spending time with her daughter, laughing, baking, and watching her dance.

She had a great passion for learning new things and could be found reading or doing crafts.

She was incredibly generous with a huge heart.

She is so deeply loved and will be missed by many.
