I will be voting to re-elect Rita Curran as my county legislator in the November election.
As a member of the St. Lawrence County Legislator’s Republican majority and a fiscal conservative herself, Rita has helped to set policy relative to managing St. Lawrence County’s finances.
As a result, the fund balance now complies with New York State’s recommendation that 15% of the annual budget be set aside for unexpected fiscal emergencies.
As a member of the County Legislature, she has helped to craft initiatives to make our county safer and to decrease our property tax rates, and she helped to establish a four-year project of paving 100 additional miles across our rural communities.
She is an advocate for the U.S. Constitution and the Second Amendment, and she is committed to veterans and farmers.
Rita is no stranger to the residents of her District.
Here in Waddington, she can be seen at community events and attending village and town board meetings. She also attends board meetings in Louisville and Massena as issues warrant.
If you live in Waddington, Louisville or Massena Election District 02, please join me in voting for Rita Curran for SLC Legislator.
