POTSDAM -- Kids and teens can expand their creativity at St. Lawrence County Arts Council art, comic book drawing and magic classes in Clarkson University’s downtown Snell Hall.

Classes in April will include:
• Chilean Rainsticks from the Rainforest, for ages 6-12, with Kris Rozelle Saturday, April 9, 10 – 11:30 a.m.; craft a musical instrument which imitates the sound of the rain and decorate it with your own unique colors and designs; $15, plus $5 materials fee.
• Comics Club, with Dave W. Ferry, Saturday, April 16 from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m., monthly class introduces youth and adults to comic book art. sketching and forming characters, perspective drawing, sequential storytelling, and bringing ideas to life; $20; bring a sketchbook, pencils, a good eraser and your imagination.
• Magic Club, with professional magician Rich Tenace. Monday, April 18 from 4 - 5:30 p.m., for ages 7-14 basic tricks with ropes, cards, coins, and sponge balls. Students learn showmanship, acting, confidence building; $15, plus $10 materials fee for first class.
