CANTON -- Sam Reeder, one of The Salvation Army’s Regional Services Coordinators, was the speaker at Corning’s kick-off of the employee campaign to benefit the United Way of Northern New York.
He thanked employees participating in the campaign, which enabled the United Way to allocate a $1,500 grant to support The Salvation Army in Fine Service Unit to provide clothing vouchers and personal hygiene items for food pantries.
He expressed gratitude to the United Way for bringing together the efforts of many not-for-profits in the county, working together to assist so many residents in need and thanked employees for supporting the United Way and helping with The Salvation Army’s Canton Service Unit Red Kettle Campaign that directly assisted many families in the Canton area.
