CANTON -- A series of classes focusing on horses is being offered at the Cooperative Extension Classroom, State Route. 68.
Classes are available to all horse enthusiasts including 4-H members. There are no age requirements.
The equine course will meet Jan. 12, 19 and 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Topics to be discussed include various horse breeds, equine health care, equine nutrition, hoof care and other topics as requested.
A clinic at Judy Boyer’s farm in Lisbon on proper tack fitting and equipment care with Kari Schermerhorn is planned may be included. Other clinics will cover mounted games, dressage, gymkhana and mini horses.
