Community Health Center of the North Country has a full-time certified application counselor for the New York State of Health Marketplace, part of the Affordable Care Act.
Myra Pitcher will guide and educate the public on how to enroll for health insurance.
This service is available to anyone in need of guidance or has questions; individuals do not need to be patients of CHCNC.
Pitcher is available on Mondays and Fridays in Gouverneur, at 77 W. Barney St.; and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Canton, 4 Commerce Lane. Twice a month she is also available for appointments at St. Vincent de Paul in Canton and at Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam.
