Bonnie L. Knight, 73, of Colton was killed in the accident.

Both Knights were transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Madrid Rescue.
Mrs. Knight died at the hospital due to injuries.
Manchester was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital for chest pain. Her passenger, Francis Manchester of West Bangor, was transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg where he was treated for a knee injury and forearm fracture.
A second passenger, Phyllis Harris, was treated for a leg and head injuries at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Elise H. Patnaude, also a passenger, was treated for a head injury at Canton-Potsdam Hospital and later transferred to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont.
