Co-valedictorians, salutatorian named at St. Regis Falls Central School

Kendra Richardson, the daughter of Julie Richardson and Brendon Richardson, of Dickinson Center, is co-valedictorian of the St. Regis Falls Central School Class of 2023. Kendra has accelerated her high school career and is graduating a year early. She plans to attend the University of Buffalo for neuroscience and is considering doing research regarding eating disorders.

Kendra is the current President of the National Honor Society and has been a member of the national honor society and junior honor society. She has been a scholar athlete and the captain of the varsity soccer, basketball, and softball teams.

She has done service credit with elementary students and volunteered at the Malone Hoop Shoot. Kendra was also an editor for the yearbook club this year.

In her free time, Kendra likes to read, crochet, paint, play music, hike, kayak/ paddleboard, travel, and spend time with family.

Luke Chapman, the son of Richard and Laura Chapman of Dickinson Center, is co-valedictorian of the St. Regis Falls Central School Class of 2023.

He participated in the Electrical Trades program at NFEC BOCES during his Junior and Senior years and was named student of the quarter twice. He also has maintained the highest average in the Electrical Trades program class in both years.

Luke plans to attend SUNY Canton for Electrical Engineering Technology and plans to work in the electrical field.

He is a member of the National Honor Society and was a member of the Junior National Honor Society previously. He has been a scholar athlete and the captain of the varsity cross country team and basketball team.

Luke has volunteered at the St. Regis Falls Food Pantry and American Red Cross Blood Drives at the school.

David J. Hart, the son of David Hart and Margo Hart, of St. Regis Falls, is salutatorian of the St. Regis Falls Central School Class of 2023.

He received the Clarkson University Leadership Award as a Junior and he plans to attend Clarkson University for computer science and partake in the Air Force ROTC program. He plans to become a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.

David is the current Treasurer of the National Honor Society and has held a position in both the National Honor and Junior National Honor Society throughout his high school career. He is also the Class President. David has been a scholar athlete and the captain of the varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball teams.

He is a member of the Dickinson Volunteer Fire Department and has volunteered at the St. Regis Falls Food Pantry. During the summer months, he worked for the Town of Waverly and the school district doing landscaping and building maintenance.
