OGDENSBURG -- The St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union recently bought a business sponsorship of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary's 15th Festival of the Trees.
The credit union donated $2,000 to support the festival.
The 15th Annual Festival of the Trees will be held Friday, Nov. 30 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. in the Mosaic Building in the old Ogdensburg Mall, 100 Ford St. Other events are scheduled later Saturday night starting at 6 p.m.
Admission is $2 per person for daytime events. Ages 15 and under are admitted free.
There will be a Hollyberry Sale featuring handcrafted items, Christmas and jewelry treasures, live wreaths and kissing balls for sale, sweets, a silent auction for a gift basket and trees, Chinese auction, viewing of decorated trees, a holiday lottery tree and Swarovski crystal tree raffle, handmade quilt raffle, memory tree and 50/50 raffle.
Lunch will be served starting at 11 a.m.
Children’s activities include Christmas crafts, face painting and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and Elf on the Shelf Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Live holiday music will be held Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with Mark Darou and Jim Flood.
Admission to Saturday evening events costs $15 per person. There will be complimentary hors d’ouevres by The Place, a cash bar by The Place, holiday music with Dave & Dawn Merz from 6-8:30 p.m.
Viewing of the decorated trees, a silent auction with bidding closing at 8:30 p.m., Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and other raffles will be held Saturday night.
A Christmas Tree Live Auction will begin at 8:45 p.m. with auctioneer Bob Kosman and Master of Ceremonies Dawn Merz.
