OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Diabetes Self-Management Education program is sponsoring a free “Living Smarter, Living Better” diabetes education day on Monday, Aug. 3.
The day begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast, and a catered lunch at noon.
The program will include information on meal planning, medications, exercise, complications, and how to make lifestyle modifications. Speakers include diabetes educator Karen Cole, dietitian Alison Felt, exercise specialist Gerry Hourihan, Dr. Michael Seidman, and pharmacist Danny Sekhon.
