Rhonda Sheehan and Patrice Cole were recently selected as employees of the month for March at Clarkson University.
Clarkson recently began the employee of the month program to highlight “the institution's commitment to service excellence,” according to a press release from Clarkson. It will recognize employees who “are serving the university in an exceptional manner.”
Sheehan is associate director of student administrative services at the Capital region campus.
Described by her colleagues as "the heart and soul of the Capital Region Campus," Sheehan always puts students first, according to the release.
She “goes above and beyond,” answering important emails on weekends and picking up students from the airport.
Cole is an administrative assistant in student administrative services.
Cole is a staple of the front desk, and her coworkers are continually impressed with her "ability to be courteous and collaborate," the release said.
She is able to connect students to resources outside of administrative services with ease and a courteous attitude.
“A welcoming presence to both students and fellow staff members,” Cole brings positive energy to a high-demand area, the release said.
