POTSDAM – Join the Clarkson University Gaming Club and Gamer Craze for the pre-release of Born to the Gods on Feb. 1-2 in the Educational Resources Center (#14 on the map at http://www.clarkson.edu/about/clarkson_map.pdf ).
The club hopes it will be the largest prerelease the North Country has ever seen.
The club had 305 registrations for the previous prerelease and are looking to top New York State with registrations over 400 for this prerelease. They expect people from all over New York to come, as their prize pool is larger than any other prerelease in the state. For the Saturday main event at the previous prerelease, they had over $1,000 in prize support for their top four and more than $500 in door prizes.
Registration is $25 and prizes go out to the top 16 players.
Registration begins Saturday at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. with packs going out an hour later.
Cash is preferred at registration.
Store credit/campus cards/Visa and MasterCards are accepted at the Gamer-Craze, 47 Main St. in Canton, for pre-registration.
