POTSDAM -- Freshman Lani Durio (Austin, TX) of the Clarkson University Volleyball team was chosen as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday, marking the third consecutive week that she has been picked for the honor.
Durio, a freshman setter, recorded 177 assists (9.32 aps) over the course of five matches as Clarkson increased its record-setting start to 12-1 overall through 13 matches. She also added seven aces and 37 digs for Clarkson.
On the season, Durio ranks third in the conference in assists despite spending a match without being the team's key setter. She is among the team leaders in digs, aces, and hitting percentage.
