POTSDAM -- Visiting Assistant Professor Brian Carter will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 in the Snell Music Theater at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music. Entitled "The Romantic Cello," the concert will also feature Julie Miller on piano.
The performance will open with three allegro movements from Johannes Brahms' Sonata No. 1 in E-Minor, Op. 38. After a brief intermission, Carter and Miller will present Camille Saint-Saëns' Sonata No. 2 in F-Major, Op. 123. The performance will conclude with an arrangement of Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 1 in G-Minor, by Alfredo Piatti.
This concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.
