Carol R. Beckner, 78, formerly of Morristown

MORRISTOWN -- Carol R. Beckner, born August 29, 1945, died on February 21, 2024, at the age of 78.

Although living in Rhode Island at the time of her death, her home was on the St. Lawrence River in Morristown, NY.

Carol was the wife of David L. Beckner, who has loved her since their first date on December 26, 1961.

Carol was the daughter of Doris A. Wall and Raymond L. Michaels, and the sister of Donald W. Daniels, James R. Michaels, and Patricia M. Chambers.

Carol loved and raised two children, Sandra R. Hebert, wife of Jeffrey, and Michael D. Beckner, husband to Rachel. Carol had five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Margaret A. Hebert, Lucas M. Beckner, Katherine R. Hebert, Jackson D. Beckner, and William D. Hebert.

Carol was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a scientist, teacher, and community volunteer; she was a world traveler, fabulous cook, and gardener; and above all else, she was a River Rat.

She will be missed.
