CANTON — A Canton man was arrested Saturday for hunting while intoxicated on Cowan Road following a complaint of a suspicious person with a gun, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Timothy V. Aldous, 49, was charged with hunting while intoxicated and hunting without a license, officers said.
During the investigation officers said they determined Aldous to be intoxicated and he claimed he was frog hunting.
Aldous had a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .29 percent, deputies said.
Deputies were assisted during the incident by DEC police.
