State police said they charged Canton and Potsdam teens Thursday in connection with separate sexual crime investigations.
A Canton teen was charged Thursday with rape of a person less than 13 years of age stemming from an incident first reported to state police Feb. 2, according to state police.
The unnamed teen was charged with first-degree rape, felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police did not release the name of the teen arrested.
Troopers did not report the status of the subject.
Troopers said they charged a 15-year-old Potsdam resident with two felonies following a sexual abuse investigation first reported to state police April 24.
The unnamed teen was charged with first-degree sexual abuse with an individual less than 11 years old and first-degree criminal sex act with a victim less than 11 years old, both felonies, troopers said.
The subject was released on appearance tickets.
