AKWESASNE – The tribally owned broadband company Mohawk Networks, LLC has appointed an interim CEO, Allyson Doctor.
Doctor has 20 years of experience leading the growth and development of a 24/7 telecommunications operation in the healthcare sector, according to a news release from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe.
She brings expertise in tribal communications and government relations and holds a B.A. from SUNY Oswego and a master of science from Boston University.
The company is actively deploying high speed broadband services to unserved and under-served regions in northern New York with $6.4 million from Round 2 funding of Governor Cuomo’s New NY Broadband Program.
