BRASHER FALLS – A Brasher Falls man was charged with drunk driving after he injured himself overturning his car at 12:57 a.m. Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Mark A. Peets, 42, 2292 County Rt. 55, Brasher Falls, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve while driving on County Rt. 50 in Brasher, left the roadway striking several trees and overturned his vehicle.
He was taken by Tri-Town Rescue to Massena Memorial Hospital for a cut to the head and a broken ankle.
Peets was treated and released to a family member.
He was charged with DWI and speed not reasonable and prudent. Further charges are pending blood results, deputies report.
