HANNAWA FALLS — The "Booze Brothers Golf Tournament" was held at the Potsdam Town & Country Club earlier this year and raised $2,100 for the Potsdam Rescue Squad.
The event was organized by Chips of Hannawa Falls, owned by Charles (Chip) Giordano, and T&R Wines and Liquors of Potsdam, owned by Tracy and Roy Wilson.
This golf tournament is in memory of Giordano’s wife Cathy, who passed away from cancer. “Chips daughter Mandy put this tournament together and did a fabulous job at it,” said Tim Rivers of the Potsdam Rescue Squad. “Each year they pick a organization to sponsor. Last year was Hospice of Potsdam. This year we were lucky enough to be the one picked and Potsdam Rescue want to express our sincere thanks to Chip, Tracy and Roy.”
The rescue squad also wished to thank you the business that helped support the golf tournament.
