A recent Sound Off entitled “Cuts Will Hurt Students” (April 4- 10) was right on the money. Norwood-Norfolk Central does not have the respect it once had and that is primarily due to the poor decision making of previous administration, current superintendent, and the people that are elected to the board of education. The ultimate goal of the so-called decision-makers linked with the school is to relinquish the autonomy the school enjoys now and surrender itself to BOCES. The taxpayers want a k-6 and 7-12 building but, the megalomaniac BOCES superintendent is working hard to create regional high schools. People should look at how many administrators BOCES has and how overstaffed they are.
