The North Country Children's Museum is hosting a Children's Book Author Series throughout the 2024 calendar year. In this series, a local children's book author or illustrator will read their story to visitors with time for questions. Following the book reading, museum educators will lead a related, hands-on STEAM activity for participating children. Pictured above, Jean Williams-Bergen, author of "Hog in a Hatchback," will begin the series on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. After listening to the story of Melvin the Pig, children can create a mask and participate in a role play activity. This program will be held in the Children's Museum's newly renovated classroom. North Country Children's Museum photo.
