Auditions for the Grasse River Players production of “Celtic Dreams,” will be held Feb. 7 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the dance studio in Room 230 in Snell Hall, Park Street in Potsdam.
A second day of auditions is scheduled for Feb. 8 at the back of the Unitarian Universalist Church in the Social room, 3 1/2 East Main St. in Canton from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The show will be performed at Russell Opera House March 28-30. It will be a collection of musical performances that captures the essence of the Celtic spirit. Singing, dancing and storytelling will be interweaved throughout the show. The production is an original revue by Jeanne Blake.
Participants interested should bring a prepared song from the Celtic music genre if possible, with music for the accompanist. There are also acting roles for which people will read from a script.
Those who cannot make either of the audition times may arrange a private audition by calling Jeannie Blake 268-1380.
