CANTON -- Assemblywoman Addie J. Russell, D-Theresa, marched in the St. Lawrence Dairy Princess Parade on Saturday and met Dairy Princess Megan Parkman and her court.
Russell said the parade is an exciting opportunity to introduce people to the dairy industry and she was proud to participate.
"The agricultural community is the foundation of the region's social and economic life. I'm proud to be a supporter of the industry and I'm glad to see our community come together to support our current and future farmers," she said.
