Masonic Lodges in St. Lawrence County are selling apples to raise money for their charitable organization. It is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, and with the exceptional apple crop this season, they hope to raise enough money to help more needy charitable organizations in our area. All money raised by the men is donated locally, and stays within the county, so the impact of the funds is local and immediate.
The apples will arrive on in Waddington Oct. 13 to be sorted and delivered. There are four varieties: Cortland, McIntosh, Empire, and Red Delicious, as well as a seasonal favorite, fresh apple cider. Apples cost $4 per peck, and $7.50 a half-bushel. Cider is $4.50 a gallon.
Anyone wishing to place an order may do so by Oct. 9. Notify any Mason, or the following lodge chairmen:
