OGDENSBURG – The First Presbyterian Church of Ogdensburg is sponsoring the 2023 Amazing Race Around Ogdensburg starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.

Participants will work to solve clues to identify places around the city of Ogdensburg.

Once that location is identified, the team will race to that place to find their next clue.

Throughout the race, participants will also be required to complete some physical and mental challenges.

All clues and challenges have been designed so participants of all ages and abilities can enjoy and succeed.

All proceeds made from the race will be used to help the church help others and a portion will be donated to the Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center..

The race will end and prizes will be awarded at 2 p.m.

There are four categories available for registration.

The Two Player- Two Adult / Young Adult category is for any combination of two players. This could be two adults; best friends, married couple, dating couple, colleagues or any two adult or young adult people who want to have fun. NOTE: Both people on this team must be at least 15 years old. ($45 for two players)

The Two Player - One Adult With A Child category is for One adult (age 18 or over) and 1 child (under 15); perhaps Mom or Dad and a child, a grandparent and grandchild, two siblings, one over 18 and one under 15, or any other adult/child combination. ($45 for two players)

The Family Team category has been created for up to 2 adults (at least 18 years of age) and as many children (under age 15) as there are in the family. NOTE: The children must all be under the age of 15. ($65 for as many players in your family.)

The Four To Five Player- Four Adult / Young Adult category is for any combination of 4 to 5 players. This could be 4 to 5 adults or young adults; best friends, married couples, dating couples, colleagues or any 4 to 5 adult or young adult people who want to have fun. NOTE: All 4 or 5 people on this team must be at least 14 years old. ($90 for four players and $112 for 5 players)
