MORLEY -- The Morley Library Association, Inc. and the Morley Wesleyan Women will join in hosting an all day quilting workshop, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 17 at the Morley Activity Center, 7254 County Route 27.
The day will start with Mardee Cooke discussing her experiences as a quilt instructor and Jo Ann Zenger displaying several applique projects she has completed. Cooke will teach a pieced quilt class entitled “Fractured nine-patch.”
JoAnn Zenger will offer instructions on a hand applique block featuring a tulip design and Pat Dominie will hold a beginners class discussing and demonstrating some of the basic tools and techniques of quilting.
The fee is $25, with lunch included.
